With Jo now living Down Under, I love keeping up with ethical Aussie fashion trends to put on her radar. My latest find is this awesome brand called Monkey and the Brownman.
Not only do they design and make a great range of hip tees and accessories, they’re all about keeping it earth friendly. Plus, because I really love wearing one-of-a-kind pieces, I’m extra happy about the fact that all of their designs are limited edition. Love it guys!
The peeps at Monkey and the Brownman take their earth-loving ethics very seriously, right down to their choice of model to show off their wares.
Here’s the deal, straight from the B&BM blog:
The search is finally over, as we have found the best male representative for our earthy product—the good looking and talented—Khan! As male models go, Khan is the complete package, he truly represents everything M&BM stand for. Living on the NSW Central Coast, Khan is devoted to beach living, and naturally, health and fitness. He participates in his local surf-lifesaving team, spends his working hours as a personal trainer, and takes the time to go surfing whenever possible.
For the curious, here’s a pic of Khan. Way on the cute side, dont’cha think! My work here is done. Happy eco styling all!

Hey, I'm Coco and besides being a Twilight junkie (Robbie Patterson is so hot!), I'm into fashion in a big way. I love vintage and anything that others don't have in their closet, really. No brand name clothes make it past my bedroom door (nor does my nosey little brother while we're on that subject). I so heart individual style and love experimenting with new looks.
I'm like, pretty green. I went vege a couple of months ago after my bff Jo sent me some horrorsome clip on Vimeo. I've loved beans ever since pretty well much. Besides my new vegetarian gig, I'm totally into recycling and reusing stuff ... turning plain old used into vintage cool. Giving it the Coco stamp, my mother says. I reckon I was Marilyn Monroe in a past life, that's why the vintage glam thing comes so naturally to me. Jo says she's not so sure about that. But some things, I think, a girl just knows.
I'm still figuring my way through all this eco and green stuff. So far, so good. It's actually loads of fun. I'm totally looking forward to sharing some hot tips right here.
Oh and did I mention Robbie Patterson??? HOT!!
Hi, I'm Jo. I spent my early childhood growing up in Southern California with my parents and younger sister, Lu. We moved to Australia a couple of years ago. I really miss my friends! But Down Under is loads of fun and everyone thinks I have a cool accent.
I love to cook. I love to eat. Oh and I love all things beauty. But I'm pretty careful about what I wear because so much of the stuff is full of gross chemicals. So I'm totally into making up my own beauty recipes.
Ooh and I'm so into following celebs who are doing things to make the world a better place. Leo is pretty hot for an older guy but my absolute fave right now is Alicia Silverstone. How cool is she!
My parents tell me I was green way before I was born. They're both long time vegans (which means they don't eat or wear anything from animals) and so that's how I've grown up too. I'm a huge animal lover so that suits me. Loads of my besties are vege too.
I'm also totally into yoga and am doing my best to get this meditation thing down. But being quiet isn't one of my strongest traits...
